OlderOne Direction: Merchandise Line in the Works!
Directioners, get excited!
This fall, you’ll be able to wake up with One Direction and jam out to them all day long.
The guys – Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan – have just signed a merchandise deal with electronics specialist Jazwares.
Their new line will include alarm clocks, headphones, speakers, microphones, ear buds, walkie-talkies, boom boxes, and even a karaoke machine.
“We are thrilled to add One Direction to our portfolio, and look forward to developing our programme with the band to bring personal and innovative electronics to their millions of fans,” said Laura Zebersky, executive vice president of sales at Jazwares.

and this is the perfect example that EVERY. SINGLE. ARTIST (or band in thise case) can be turned into a product and looses it’s human side sooner or later… nomather how down to earth they are (which i highly doubt) they just will be robots from now on. it’s so sad, but that’s the way it is…
I love 1D have have done since xfactor 2010 as I have watched every freakin season of that show. lol. But the sudden change in popularity (which is great, I am truly happy for them) is making their stupid management attach their names to any product that they can sell to obsessed fans that they know will buy their merchandise. Plus anything they sell I doubt the boys will get much money from it. Their popularity is being taken advantage of by those higher than them. Feel bad for the boys.
