OlderElizabeth Olsen Leans On Dakota Fanning in 'Very Good Girls'
Dakota Fanning cradles Elizabeth Olsen while filming a new scene for Very Good Girls in Brooklyn, New York on Tuesday afternoon (July 10).
The two actresses play best friends in the upcoming flick who make a pact to lose their virginity during their first summer out of high school. But when they fall for the same guy, their friendship is tested for the first time.
Richard Dreyfuss and Demi Moore also star.
Dakota, 18, is also pictured picking up a cool iced drink en route to set on Wednesday (July 11).

This movie sounds like absolute crap. I’m surprised Dakota even agreed to it. Demi is a has been, and Elizabeth is an “IT” girl riding off her sisters fame, so yes, they would do it, but Dakota? Yeah, I’m not a fan, but she does usually make wise acting choices.

Elizabeth is way more talented than the twins, she’s not riding off of their fame. I agree that Dakota does very good at choosing her films and roles, for this reason I’m pretty sure there is more than meets the eye for this film. Something about the story must be very good to have gotten her attention. I’m looking forward to all her upcoming movies, each one is extremely different from the other.
According to comments made elsewhere by Olsen, the movie has more to it than what has been mentioned here. Whatever, from what I’ve seen, many actors have some dogs in their filmography; Dakota has, IMHO, a least two: “Push” (although I did like Dakota’s pistol packing Cassie character) and the Twi movies. If done well (a huge “if” theses days for movies) the three movies Dakota made in 2011 could be good; I’m especially looking forward to “Efffie.” My favorite performance by Dakota, so far, is as Lewellen in “Hounddog.”
BTW, Dakota’s skin doesn’t look OK; I wonder if she’s gotten sunburned in the NYC heat?
