Nikki Reed is One of the 'Powerful Women in Pop Culture'

Nikki Reed takes a seat at Entertainment Weekly‘s Powerful Women In Pop Culture during Comic-Con International 2012 held at San Diego Convention Center on Friday (July 13) in San Diego, Calif.

The 24-year-old actress joined Sarah Wayne Callies, Kristin Kreuk, Lucy Lawless and more on the panel, where they spoke about powerful women in movies and entertainment.

“[There are] specific instances in my career where it [body image] was talked about more than it should be…,” she shared when the subject matter came up.

Nikki continued, “I think all of us would be lying if we said it wasn’t something we don’t think about. I think we deal with the pressures on a greater scale than men do. It affects not just the roles you play, your career, and the choices you make, but also you as a person. I think we can all do without that.”

Nikki is also pictured with husband Paul McDonald at the Wired Cafe held at Palm Terrace at the Omni Hotel.
