Shawn Johnson shares a laugh with Venus Williams as they appear on The Today Show in New York City on Tuesday morning (July 10).

The 20-year-old recently retired gymnast appeared on the program to chat about her new book, “Winning Balance.” The new memoir chronicles her life in gymnastics, plus image issues, Dancing with the Stars, scary stalkers and more.

Shawn also stopped by Bookends Bookstore later in the day to sign copies of the book.

Shawn is also pictured at the 40th Anniversary of Title IX in New York City earlier last month.
