Emma Watson may have a new gig!
The 22-year-old actress is the latest star whose name has been thrown around to play Anastasia Steele in the upcoming film adaptation of the romance novel “50 Shades of Grey“, reports the New York Daily News.

Vampire Diaries‘ Ian Somerhalder and True Blood‘s Alexander Skarsgard have been suggested to play the lead role of Christian Grey, though nothing has been confirmed.
On September 14, Emma can be seen on the silver screen in her latest flick, The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

NYDN is reporting from india? Welp. Emma’s rep denied the rumors; producers denied the rumors. Gone from crazy poll to casting rumors. Typical.
Oh please NO! I don’t want her to get tainted by such a trilogy not to mention the ‘Twilight’ tag.
I can understand why Emma would feel the need to to something as far removed from the Harry Potter universe and thoughts of Hermoine Granger as possible. But what I don’t is why any reputable film maker or actor and actress with a drop of talent would touch this garbage with a ten foot pole.
It’s just a rumor, her rep’s already denied it!
ok, I love Emma but I’d like to think she would choose better projects than this crapfest.
Is this true? If so, wow. Anyone who has already read those books, know that mostly of them is a sex scene. I have no idea how the director and the editors of this movie are going to put everything into something that underage people will see without saying ‘woah slow down’. I personally like Ian or Alexander as Christian Grey, but to me, Emma seems to be such a young actress to play Anastasia. In the books, Ana is supossed to be all little, and shy and Emma could put on that part, but I’m not sure if we all are ready to see her making that kind of sex scenes. I don’t know, she just doesn’t work for that part (for me, at least).
If Emma is looking for a role that will make people forget Hermione, this role may just be the one to do that. I wouldn’t advise her to take this if she were consulting me. The press has reacted very positively to this book, but the reviewers haven’t. The reviews on Amazon from regular readers is less than positive to say the least. However, I doubt Emma’s going to make my phone ring, so all there is to do is sit back and see what happens. This is not a good idea, Emma.
Her rep already said that the rumor is false. Besides, Emma is too classy to be in a porn film.
No Emma, I agree she is way too classy to do this.
