One Direction To Perform at MTV VMAs!

Louis Tomlinson takes a phone call outside the studio in London on Tuesday afternoon (July 31).

Along with bandmates Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne, the group just got the news of their 2012 MTV VMA nominations!

One Direction is up for Best Pop Video and Best New Artist at the award show where they’ll also be performing.

The 2012 MTV VMAs airs live September 6th at 8PM ET/PT on MTV. Head on over to MTV.com to vote for your favorites!

I love One Direction so I can’t wait to see them perform on the VMA’s! I also hope to see them go home with an award or two, which I’m sure won’t be hard to pull off. I love the VMA’s and I watch every year. This year I’m going to watch on my phone thanks to the suggestion of a Dish coworker. I like to use the Dish Remote Access app because it allows me to watch live and recorded shows and set up DVR timers all on my phone. I love the convenience of watching during my commute because I never miss any award show action.
