Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson hang out with Savannah Guthrie and Carly Patterson during a Today Show broadcast from the 2012 Olympic Games in London on Wednesday (August 1).

The two gymnasts watched Gabrielle Douglas win the gold medal at the Individual All-Arounds on Thursday afternoon and couldn’t contain their excitement.

“I feel numb. Hugging screaming crying with the whole Douglas family. @gabrielledoug I couldn’t be prouder! #OlympicsTODAY,” Shawn tweeted.

Nastia added, “Congrats @gabrielledoug! Olympic All-around Champion… Wow! You’re amazing! Enjoy this road, it’s going to be very exciting!”

Gabby joins Nastia (Beijing 2008), Carly (Athens 2006) and Mary Lou Retton (Los Angeles 1984) as an all-around champion.

Shawn is also pictured jumping around with Judo Bronze medalist Mari Malloy.
