OlderGabby Douglas Falls on Beam; Aly Raisman Captures Bronze at 2012 Olympics
Gabby Douglas struggles to catch herself during the Artistic Gymnastics Women’s Beam final on Day 11 of the London 2012 Olympic Games held at North Greenwich Arena on Tuesday (August 7) in London.
The 16-year-old gymnast came in 7th place while teammate Alexandra Raisman — after a review of her score following an appeal — took home with the bronze medal!
China picked up the gold and silver, going to Deng Linlin and Sui Lu, respectively.

That’s too bad that Gabby had that fall on the beam, she is such an amazing gymnast. She shines like no other! Congrats to Aly though! Team USA!
