Congrats, Zendaya!
The 15-year-old actress just signed on the dotted line with Hollywood Records and posted the following pics on Mobli to share with her fans.
Zendaya joins a long roster from the label which includes Bridgit Mendler, Lucy Hale and Selena Gomez and the Scene.

“epic moment in my life…it’s official!!! HOLLYWOOD RECORDS!!!” she excitedly tweeted this afternoon (August 7).
Zendaya added, “won’t forget this!!”

I didn’t know 15-year olds could even SIGN contracts. I don’t think it’s binding until she’s 18.

That doesn’t even make sense. Teenagers/kids who enter into contracts must sign it AS WELL AS their parents/ guardians. That is why her father is sitting next to her (the left obv.). And it IS binding.
@Tibi: Right, but you can’t hold a 15-year old to a contract… it wouldn’t hold up in court. If Zendaya backs out of her contract, only her father gets penalized. So it’s actually Zendaya’s dad that’s signed to Hollywood Records. Zendaya signing the contract doesn’t really mean anything… it’s more symbolic. And the pic of her signing is clearly just a publicity stunt.

Good for her. She’s fortunate to have a father that loves her and also knows a little about the music business. No doubt he has a positive influence on her.
YAAAAAAY she has SUCH an amazing voice!!!!
But heres the thing, will disney even play ANY of her music videos, Swag It Out was recieved horribly, it wasn’t on radio or the channel. I love Zendaya and wish her the best but i think she is too good for disney, and they should’ve had bella be the only star on the show. Having two stars isn’t good because one will be famous then the other.
*Sigh* Another person that Disney manufactures to sing. Will the cycle ever end? No. She really doesn’t have a strong voice to be quite honest.
