Emma Roberts shows off her edgy side in this new photo that she uploaded to her Instagram account.

In the pic, the 21-year-old actress rocks pink highlights and even a couple piercings!

“Me in character #We’reTheMillers #Casey,” Emma wrote alongside the image.

The flick, due out next year, is about a veteran pot dealer who creates a fake family as part of his plan to move a huge shipment of weed into the U.S. from Mexico.

    I don’t get what’s edgy about this look . She is wearing all black , nothing edgy about that . I think that if they wanted to go ” edgy ” they should have dropped the ” cutesy ” braid and almost fresh faced make up and have gone with a truly dramatic smokey eye a la M.A.C Cosmetics . But I get it she has to look young and innocent which is not bad because after all she IS Emma Roberts , they don’t want to scare away the parents of the tweens and teens fans . The girl is beautiful and talented but nothing about this look says edgy to me , I guess I will just have to wait to see the character in the movie .
