Robert Pattinson: Good Morning, America!

Robert Pattinson lets out a happy smile as he makes an appearance on Good Morning America on Wednesday morning (August 15) in New York City.

The 26-year-old actor, in Kenzo pants, shirt and blazer, went on the morning show to promote his flick Cosmopolis, but was unable to dodge questions about the Kristen Stewart cheating scandal.

When asked if he was doing okay, Robert simply replied, “yeah, yeah.”

“I’ve never been interested in trying to sell my personal life . . . That’s the reason you go on TV – to promote movies. That’s the only way to do it,” Robert added.

I am a little frustrated with Rob…if he is so private then why all the publicity. If he wants his personal life private then he should announce that it is between him and kris only.
Maybe then some of the threats to Kristen would go away and she would not have to stay in hiding.
    Need to man up Rob…

@Jen: he’s doing publicity for his new movie. I think he’s handling all the Kristen questions pretty well under the circumstances. Why should he talk about it? They never spoke about their relationship when they were dating so why should they now that they’ve broken up?

I totally agree with you and I can’t help to feel bad for him. Been cheated on must be awful and I can’t imagine going throught that under the public eye.
Robert is handling the whole thing like a gentleman and he doesn’t appear to be slowing down. So good for him!

@Angie: He’s a class act and he’s doing well for himself career wise post-scandal. We don’t know how he’s handling it emotionally – he could be heartbroken or he could be totally fine with it – but does he need to address that to the media? No, especially considering what a private person he is.
