Karen Gillan arrives at the Doctor Who: Asylum of the Daleks TV Preview held at the BFI Southbank in London on Tuesday (August 14).

The 24-year-old actress, in Dolce & Gabbana, dished to Telegraph about not reading her final Doctor Who script until she really had to.

“I didn’t want to make it real. The gap between me receiving the script and actually reading it must have been a few weeks. But then eventually I did and it’s a brilliant, emotional episode,” she shared.

The new season of Doctor Who premieres August 26th on BBC.
