Check out the US cover art for Cher Lloyd‘s “Sticks & Stones” album!
The 19-year-old musician recently chatted with USA Today about her hopes for the record.
“I’d like an older group of people to appreciate it. I feel like some people look at a pop artist and think, ‘I don’t want to be their fan because it might be a bit cheesy.’ ” But she isn’t worried about impressing everyone. “The only people I’m trying to impress are my fans. Any other person who tries to criticize, it’s not too much of a big deal,” she shared.
Cher added, “It kind of sounds like a jukebox because every song is different. I experiment so much. Sometimes stuff doesn’t sound too good and I take it off the album, and then half the time it sounds great and I keep it.”
