McKayla Maroney shows off her medals to Alyson Hannigan during a visit to the How I Met Your Mother set in Los Angeles on Thursday (August 23).

The 16-year-old Olympian stopped by the set of the hit CBS sitcom for a quick visit.

“It is a GOLDen day on the HIMYM set!!!” Alyson tweeted.

Neil Patrick Harris, who plays Barney on the show, added along with a pic, “Guess who visited HIMYM just now? Olympic Gold Medalist @McKaylaMaroney !”

McKayla tweeted back, “It was so amazing to meet you @ActuallyNPH!! You’re the best!!”
