The country cutie channeled all the turmoil from her relationships over the past two years into her upcoming album Red. “I went through a few roller coasters,” Taylor said in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

“Trying to chronicle each step of the way was challenging, because you go to some really dark places with the lyrics. Then in the next track, you’re talking about how amazing it is to meet somebody new.”

Hopefully Conor Kennedy knows what he’s getting into. He could end up as the foil in her next single!

I´m a fan. But I really, really wished she would just stop dressing like my grandma. Or as if she lived in the fifties. Where the heck are the cowboy boots? I miss that Taylor….

Please this is not hating. I just needed to share my opinion with someone :)

In addition to her outdated grandma clothes, *I* wish Taylor would write a song about something OTHER than how she can’t get the boy she wants OR how she never wants the boy she eventually got. Taylor, you’re an adult now… write about adult things.

(Yeah, yeah, I know, such a hater. Whatevs.)

@Jason She had songs on her last album that weren’t about boys. “Mean” was for the bullies, “Never Grow Up” was a lullaby-like song about children staying children, “Innocent” was for Kanye West after that VMA incident, and “Long Live” was dedicated to her band.

@amanda leigh: Actually the last album she kinda did write about boys, Back to December was about Taylor Lautner, Dear John was about John Meyer so yeah, i think two or there was one more idk.
