OlderDemi Lovato WINS at MTV VMAs 2012
Demi Lovato cradles her award after performing at the 2012 MTV VMAs held at Staples Center on Thursday (September 6) in Los Angeles.
The 19-year-old musician took home the first moon man of the night — Best Video with a Message for “Skyscraper.”

“This will actually set a lot of my performances apart,” Demi shared about her performance. “This is going to be something I think everyone’s going to be surprised by. I can’t give away too much, but it’s going to be really cool. And I’m excited.”

Congratulations Demi Lovato You were incredible. :)
She deserves the award not only for the song, but for the fact at every show for the last year she spoke before she started playing the notes on the piano. The speech was never rehearsed, it was never written down, it was never the same words…But you can tell she meant it every time. Yeah some people may roll their eyes and say ” whatever” that is fine —too me being brave enough and person enough to give that speech night after night really showed me her true side. I know this sounds corn ball but this is why I wasn’t born a Lovatic , but I will die as one.
She’s 20 not 19 years old!!! You guys always seem to make that error :(
