Ashley Greene learns about the mechanics of shoe making from designer Alexandre Birman during the launch of his new collection for Fall 2012 held at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City on Saturday night (September 8).

The 25-year-old actress, who wore a fun Missoni dress with a pair of Birman heels, found a few pair of faves from the new line — intricately crafted python platforms, vibrantly blue toned pumps and luxurious suede and exotic skinned ankle booties.
