Vanessa Hudgens Covers 'Untitled' Magazine
Vanessa Hudgens wraps herself in film strips in this inside shot from Untitled magazine.
The 23-year-old actress opened up about the film, moving on from Gabriella Montez, and working in the Alaskan Outback.
On the weather conditions for The Frozen Ground: “There would be days where the wind chill was about negative 30. It definitely added to the harsh element of the film… my feet were literally frozen in my leather bound soles.”
On Spring Breakers: “I’ve never even been to a film festival, let alone competed in one! I’m really proud of the movie. I feel like it’s a breed of its own, it’s a movie unlike any other and it’s very fresh and fun and exciting. I feel like it’s a great take on our youth culture right now.”
On her High School Musical experience: “High School Musical was incredible and it was so fun and it gave me so many fans which I’m very, very thankful for, but it also closed people’s minds up as to which characters I could portray. They only saw me as Gabriella Montez and I love that character but there’s so much more to me than just that. So for a while I was kind of struggling and fighting for these roles that I just desperately wanted. It was hard and it was a struggle, but then again life is always a struggle. Having a career will always be a struggle. You’ll always have to fight for what you want. Definitely crossing over and being able to tackle these grittier parts was a challenge, but I feel like I’ve done it! It’s a whole new chapter!”

OMG, FLAWLESS

*yawn*
I think she looks absolutely beautiful in these pictures.
Best photo shoot she’s ever done. Classy , gorgeous pictures. I like what she has to say as well. I agree about HSM I think the rest of the cast had the stigma over their heads as well. Glad to see she is
branching out and showing her versatility.
@wow: What a nasty miserable person you must be. I feel sorry for your jealousy and anger.
@creep: I agree 100%
Wow she looks amazing. Her eyes are stunning and her skin is flawless. Hopefully Zac saw these pictures ;)
Baby V <3 She looks stunning!
She looks gorgeous<3
definitely one of the most beautiful actress in hollywood, i wonder if this magzine out already?
GORGEOUS
She looks amazing and all grown up. Love the photos. Yes, she’s finally grown out of the HSM mould and proven her mettle. It was an uphill battle no doubt.
She’s gorgeous but these pictures are super photoshopped. Her nose does not look like that.
@vikki compare her nose to that of the picture right beside the article , it’s the same. She doesn’t need photo shop. She’s young and beautiful.
gorgeous <3
@tina: her nose was definitely messed with, as was her skin. sorry to say, but nearly everyone gets airbrushed in photoshoots – whether they need it or not is irrelevant.
ew
@emily: No it wasn’t you just wish it was. She DOES HAVE MAKE UP ON. I’ll give you that. If photoshop could do all thay you people think Ashley would have had to have a her nose changed.
@tina: thank you for jumping to conclusions, but i actually find vanessa to be very gorgeous – i’m just saying that the airbrushing and photoshopping of these photos is incredibly obvious.
@emily: Only to someone looking to detract from her. It’s different when you sit down for a photo session, the lighting is set to show off your assets. He ll, my kids even look different (as in better, although as a mother I know they are handsome, lol) in family photo shot at a studio.
@tina: i’m not looking to detract anything from her, and i’m not going to argue about this because it’s silly. you’re entitled to believe whatever you want, but the pictures were edited, end of story.
In your opinion, or were you there for the editing? end of story.
@tina: lady, you are impossible. i have no idea why you’re being so defensive over this, because i’m not insulting vanessa by saying that the pictures were edited – it’s just a fact. i don’t need to have been there to know it. anyone who has ever seen a picture of her before this knows that she doesn’t look like that.
Can I just add to this that ALL pictures that are printed in magazines are edited in some shape or form. It is not a bad thing nor is it a reflection on the subject being photographed. It is just how things are done.
I am glad Vanessa has finally mentioned the stigma surrounding HSM. As someone already said, the whole cast has had to deal with it. Vanessa more than others.
