Nikki Reed: AXE Showerpooling Event

Nikki Reed says hello to an adorable baby before taping her appearance for Extra at the Grove in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon (October 2).

Just before her interview, the 24-year-old actress was spotted at the AXE Showerpooling event held at USC Delta Chi fraternity house.

The Showerpooling campaign encourages guys and girls to make sustainable living routine, have fun while doing it and recruit their friends to join in on the action. AXE Shower is also donating $100,000 to the Alliance for Water Efficiency, a non-profit organization dedicated to the efficient and sustainable use of water, to fund conservation research projects and provide technical support to water-stressed cities.

Over the weekend, Nikki and husband Paul McDonald performed at Olive’s Annual Poolside Party fundraiser in Culver City.

The event raised monies for the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, which helps to protect and preserve Africa’s Wilderness, particularly endangered species such as elephants and the Black Rhino. The foundation will receive 100% of the proceeds raised for the conservation of wildlife and habitats in Kenya.

FYI: Nikki wore a Patched Pocketed Silk Shirt in white by Mango and Me Char‘s Brigid leopard clutch to the AXE event. She also wore a Dana Rebecca Designs necklace while filming Extra.
