The 15-year-old actress recently chatted with us about her upcoming movie, her love of music, and all things Halloween!

JJJ: We’re excited for your Halloween themed movie. What’s it about?
OH: When Skylar’s plans get crushed by her parents, she sneaks out of the house and unknowingly unleashes a monster and it’s up to Skylar and her friends to channel their inner strength and conquer more than just this monster.

JJJ: Can you tell us about your character in Girl Vs. Monster?
OH: Skylar is a fearless teenage girl with a powerful singing voice.

JJJ: Sounds fun! We heard your music will be on the movie’s soundtrack, that’s so exciting! When did you first fall in love with singing?
OH: Singing was actually my first love. I fell in love with it when I was just a little girl. And being able to record some songs for the movie was such a cool experience and I had so much fun! It was really exciting!

JJJ: Which do you enjoy more, acting or singing?
OH: I don’t think I could ever choose one of over the other because I enjoy and love both so much! And being able to pursue both would be a dream come true.

JJJ: What’s your favorite scary movie?
OH: I’m a big scary movie fanatic! So I’m all about any Halloween movie! My favorite are the Paranormal Activity movies. So intense.

JJJ: If you could go to a Halloween party with anyone in Hollywood, who would it be?
OH: I think it’d be really cool to go with Helena Bonham Carter! I think her costume would be so interesting and showing up to a party with her and her rockin’ costume would be so much fun!

JJJ: Nice. Who’s your celeb crush at the moment?
OH: Cam Gigandet. He is gorgeous.

JJJ: Good choice! What Halloween candy do you love the most?
OH: Milk duds! I’m obsessed with them now thanks to my co-star on Girl Vs. Monster, Kerris Dorsey.

JJJ: Do you have any fun Halloween related stories you can share with us?
OH: Last Halloween, a few of my friends and I dressed up as super heroes and went to Disneyland! It was so fun! Disneyland was in all Halloween decorations and they had little trails for trick or treaters. I definitely would love to go back!
