Blake Lively: Is Serena Ready For an Adult Relationship on 'Gossip Girl'?

Blake Lively shares a laugh with co-star Penn Badgley while filming new scenes for Gossip Girl in Manhattan, New York City on Thursday morning (October 11).

The duo joined Michelle Trachtenberg and Sofia Black-D’Elia for scenes filmed at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

In a recent interview with THR, executive producer Sara Goodman dished on Serena’s new adult relationship in the show.

“We really wanted her to be in an adult relationship,” she shared. “We wanted her to have that change. I guess we’ll see if she’s ready for it or not, or if this is who she belongs with. But he [Barry Watson] absolutely is the most viable love interest than we’ve ever had for her �� in a long-term way.”
