OlderJordan Pruitt: Battle Rounds on 'The Voice'
Jordan Pruitt gets into practice mode in this new shot from NBC’s The Voice, which aired on Tuesday night (October 23).
The 21-year-old singer battled it out against Adriana Louise and unfortunately, is out of the competition.
Team mentor/judge Christina Aguilera tweeted, “Breaks my heart to let @Jordansblog go – what an incredibly talented girl! So much ahead of you. Forever #TeamXtina #TheVoice.”
Fellow judge Blake Shelton dished on the program, “If I had a #Steal, I’d have stolen @JordansBlog.”
Jordan added on her own handle, “I feel so thankful that I have fans who’ve grown up with me, and can continue to take this amazing journey with me. #ThankYou #Blessed. Overwhelmed with ALL of your beautiful tweets. Wow am I a lucky girl or what? Proud to have such amazing friends like you…”
She also announced that she’s going country! “I am one happy girl…. And excited to tell you, I’m going country…. #newmusic #2013 #omgsh”

she sang soo much better
it wasnt fair at all
she went last when there were no steal left, and i knew blake would want her too
but he used it on marri ann the night before
she alredy has more control and experience then most on the show she would have been a top contender,
i guess it doesnt matter now
jordan found her way once she could do it again
plus the winner nere end up being relevant for more then a few months

She’s so pretty! I can’t believe Christina chose Adriana. She messed up on a major high note and 2/3 judges preferred Jordan. I felt so bad for her!
I felt so terrible for Jordan when she cried because Christina said no. I definitly would’ve picked Jordan. I recognized her right away, and I was like “OMG, what happened?!” Cause she had her career on Disney and touring with big names from there like Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato three years ago. I miss Jordan’s music so much. I love her voice. I think she’s a gorgeous person on the inside and out, but I feel like Adriana didn’t make the song her own, at the beginning it sounded exactly like Katy Perry’s original version which didn’t impress me at all. #TEAMJORDAN
I don’t watch the show but I’ve seen a couple of Adriana’s performances on YT and she needs to stop that screeching/”woo!” thing she does. Also, completely off-key at 1:37/1:38. You can’t scream your way through an entire song, unless you’re of the metal-screamo music genre. Jordan has better control even if she doesn’t have a powerful voice. I mean, that’s what mics are for, to amplify your voice.
