One Direction greet the Queen of England during the 2012 Royal Variety Performance held at Royal Albert Hall in London on Monday night (November 19).

“Today, I met The Queen,” Harry Styles tweeted after the show.

Harry, along with band mates Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, joined Girls Aloud and Robbie Williams at the annual event which showcase a variety of family entertainment, including comedy, singing, dance, magic and other speciality acts, with many of the performers and hosts being popular celebrities—a variety show.

Zayn added, “Having a great time at the royal variety show !! :D ”

The proceeds from the event are donated to the Entertainment Artistes’ Benevolent Fund.
