OlderShailene Woodley: Who Should Play Tobias in 'Divergent'?
Looks like Shailene Woodley has a handful of good-looking actors to pick from for the role of Tobias in Divergent.
Luke Bracey, Brenton Thwaites, Lucas Till and Jack Reynor were all brought in for chemistry tests with Shailene, Deadline reports.
Written by Veronica Roth, “Divergent” follows Beatrice Prior (Tris), who leaves her faction to join a rival one, but during the violent initiation she falls in love with a young man and they try to find their place in this rough world.
Tobias is described as “tall and has short dark hair and beautiful deep blue eyes. He is two years older than Tris and originally came from the same faction as she did, Abnegation. He ran from Abnegation into Dauntless to escape his physically abusive father, Marcus. He protects Tris from the others both by defending her when she is attacked and by keeping their romance private.”

This is actually a huge spoiler, can you change the name for people who haven’t read the book? This totally ruins the big name reveal.

Brenton Thwaites is the best out of them, but none really look like Four/Tobias. If Lucas Tills gets chosen then I will find it hard to watch the film, I’m sure he’s a nice guy but I cannot stand him and he is NOT Tobias.
And I don’t really like Shailene as Tris, she just doesn’t look young enough or anything like Tris
HONESTLY THEY KILLED THE FILM WHEN THEY DECIDED TO GET SHAILENE WOODLEY AS TRIS! ITS NOT THAT I HATE HER BECAUSE I DON’T BUT SHE ISN’T RIGHT FOR HER!
NONE OF THE GUYS ABOVE SUIT FOUR/TOBIAS IF I WAS TO PICK I WOULD SAY COLTON HAYNES! HE WOULD BE 100% HE CAN TOTALLY PULL IT OFF! NOT ONLY IS HE HOT LIKE FOUR BUT HE CAN BE A BADASS HE MANAGE TO PULL OFF THAT TYPE OF CHARACTER IN TEEN WOLF!

I don’t know anything about any of these guys, but I like the look of Brenton Thwaites the best. He looks like he could be a cocky, tattoed “bad ass” of Dauntless, lol.
By the way for anyone actually being upset by a bit of spoiler at the top, why would you even be on this page to be interested in the content if you haven’t read the first book? Seems odd to me, just saying.
