Emma Roberts Talks Taking Fashion Risks

Emma Roberts sends a quick text while heading into Salon Benjamin on Tuesday afternoon in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 21-year-old actress left the appointment with new long hair! JJJ loves it — so pretty!

Emma recently spoke with People mag about taking more fashion risks now that she’s a bit older, saying, “When I was younger it was just [about] looking pretty,” Emma dished. “Now it’s more about doing things that are different and interesting.”

She added about her most recent red carpet look — in a Nanette Lepore pantsuit at the Sunglass Hut party in New York City.

“I would never wear my hair slicked back when I was younger because I’d be too uncomfortable, but [at the Sunglass Hut event] I was like, ‘Oh, I normally wouldn’t do this, but why not?’ So I think it’s just caring less – not in a bad way – but caring less so you’re not so, ‘Everything has to be a certain way,’” she added.
