In tonight’s episode “Mother Fracker,” After Vanessa’s (Nancy Travis) complex presentation to Eve’s (Dever) class on career day about her work for an oil company, the class quickly turns on Vanessa and accuses her of destroying Mother Earth.
A mortified Eve demands her mom be more environmentally responsible by quitting her job. Mike (Tim Allen) believes Eve should apologize to her mother, but Eve refuses and goes to drastic lengths by camping in the backyard.

This was the first episode of Last Man Standing I’ve seen, and although it didn’t blow me away, I was pleasantly surprised and had some good laughs. I should’ve expected it though, I liked Tim Allen in Home Improvement so I don’t know why I never got around to watching Last Man Standing. Especially since one of my coworkers at DISH kept recommending it, so this morning when I started going through my PrimeTime Anytime recordings from last night, I saw it, and decided it was about time I gave it a shot. This is one of the things I love about DISH’s Hopper. Its PrimeTime Anytime feature records everything from the four major networks every evening automatically. I don’t even have to think about it or set any DVR timers. So I can just got through and pick what I want to watch later, even if I didn’t even know I wanted to watch it! And now that I know how funny Last Man Standing is, I think It’ll become one of my regularly watched shows.
