'Oz The Great & Powerful': New Stills & TV Spot!
Michelle Williams reads to young girls on some stairs in this colorful, new image from Oz The Great and Powerful.
During filming, a marionette was used to create a reference for China Girl, who is voiced by Joey King. Marionette artist Philip Huber created the China Girl character as an 18-inch figure who was then converted to a CG character. China Girl is made entirely from porcelain — as is everything and everyone from China Town.
Here’s the film’s synopsis: When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot–fame and fortune are his for the taking–that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting.
