Julianne Hough: 'Safe Haven' in Toronto

Julianne Hough arrives at Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Canada on Sunday evening (January 20).

The 24-year-old actress joined co-star Josh Duhamel at a few radio stations on Monday morning (January 21) to promote their new film, Safe Haven.

Based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks, Safe Haven tells the tale of a mysterious young woman who arrives in a small North Carolina town and reluctantly joins the tight knit community which raises questions about her past.

Slowly, she begins putting down roots, and gains the courage to start a relationship with Alex (Duhamel), a widowed store owner with two young children. But dark secrets intrude on her new life with such terror that she is forced to rediscover the meaning of sacrifice and rely on the power of love in this deeply moving romantic thriller.

Safe Haven opens February 14th!
