Well, it’s official — The Selection is coming to the CW!

According to TVLine, the pilot is getting a revamp from last year’s version which starred Aimee Teegarden, William Moseley and Ethan Peck.

CW president Mark Pedowitz shared that the pilot is in contention for next fall’s lineup. “The script just came in,” he said. “It’s very well done.”

Set 300 years in the future, The Selection is billed as an epic romance centering on a working class young woman chosen by lottery to participate in a competition with 25 other ladies for Prince Maxon’s hand to become the nation’s next queen. No word on if Aimee, William or Ethan would be returning.
