Ed Sheeran: Radio City Music Hall Concert
Ed Sheeran stops for a few fans outside of Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Wednesday evening (January 30).
The 21-year-old musician played to a sold-out crowd at the legendary venue.
“I wrote it about a girl called Angel. I met her in a homeless shelter in East London (where, at age 18, he was a volunteer),” Ed shared in a recent interview about his Grammy nominated song, “The A Team.”
He added about its success, “When I wrote that song, it was because I needed to. In my head, I wasn’t thinking, ‘Oh, this will work in America.’ Even when it was a hit in England, I didn’t think it would work in America. It’s been very surprising how that song has been received and how far it’s taken me.”
On Thursday (January 31), Ed stopped by The Today Show where he performed “Lego House.” Watch it below!

Ed’s amazing! and such a sweet person.
Ed makes singing look as easy as breathing. So sad I missed Radio City because the tickets sold out :(
