Charles Michael Davis is the latest cast addition to The Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals!

According to Deadline, the Switched at Birth actor will play Klaus (Joseph Morgan)’s former protégé Marcel.

The Originals centers on Klaus’ return to the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans — a town he helped build centuries ago — where he is reunited with Marcel. It’s there that he also goes head-to-head with his brother Elijah (Daniel Gillies) who is still intent on keeping him in line.

The backdoor pilot will air April 25th @8PM ET on The CW!
