Chloe Moretz lets the sunlight in on her new feature from the March 2013 issue of Marie Claire magazine.

The 15-year-old actress chatted with the glossy about Carrie, and taking on darker roles than others. Check it:

On her dark roles: “I like doing dark material, which is interesting since I’m such the opposite person. I’m so light and happy. I have a good family and I’m loved.”

On acting alongside, Julianne Moore, in Carrie: “She’s one of my favorite people I’ve ever worked with. And if I could do every single movie for the rest of my career with her, I would, because she’s brilliant.”

On choosing those darker parts: “I’ll watch the Disney Channel. My family makes fun of me for it, but with the characters I do, I always use that as my upper.”
