OlderZoey Deutch on 'Vampire Academy': 'I'm So Excited!'
It was just revealed that Zoey Deutch will be leading the cast of Vampire Academy and the 18-year-old actress could not be more excited.
“It’s crazy. I’m so excited!” she shared with MTV. “It was a physically exhausting process for me at least. I was very fully in it. I had already kind of started training because Rose Hathaway is very physical. She’s a protector. I still can’t believe it happened.”
Zoey continued about working with brothers Daniel and Mark Waters, “It is so funny. The script is so funny, and it is so interesting. I don’t even know what kind of genre it would be categorized in. It’s very different. And I’m very excited, and the tone is so interesting — and [director] Mark Waters, who I’m like a huge fan of. It’s going to be really crazy. It’s such a crazy-good character. She’s such a badass.”

Huh…Not sure whether she’s perfect, or not. I’m GLAD about Danila as Dimitri. Extremely disappointed about Lissa’s pick. Come on…..We’re talking Moroi, people. You’re supposed to get someone AS beautiful, and model-like. Also, really tense about Adrian, Sydney, Jill, and others. But guess we aren’t finding out who they’ll be until next year, are we. Meh….

The cast is so perfect! Vampire Academy is my favorite book series, everyone should give it a chance, it’s very different from most vampire stuff, it’s funny, sexy, moving, action packed…
The actress who plays Lissa will be fine, don’t worry, I’ve seen videos of the tv series she’s being in and she is basically Lissa herself.
The Russian guy who’ll play Dimitri is so freaking hot and talented.
And Zoey will be great as Rose, she is just as energetic and passionate as the character.
Rave, the girl playing Lissa is actually an actress AND a model, no-one can be more model-like than a model lol

OMFGGG. i think she looks good and appropriate for Rose. It’s all up to her performance. Nevertheless, I’m sooooooo excited VA is getting adapted!! YESSSS!
