'American Idol' Recap: Top 40 Finalists Revealed!

Tonight’s episode of American Idol narrowed down the pack to just 40 contestants – 20 guys and 20 girls!

So who made the cut? Angela Miller, 18, blew the judges away with her original song “You Set Me Free” and even received a standing ovation!

Meanwhile, Candice Glover, 23, rocked the stage with her rendition of Alicia Keys‘ hit “Girl on Fire.”
