Set in contemporary New York City, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray (Collins), discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother (Lena Headey), Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld, filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures.
Out on August 23rd, the movie also stars Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Kevin Zegers, Jemima West, and Robert Sheehan.

this movie sounds fantastic !
The smiles on their faces! Most times you see couples almost kissing looking somewhat shocked and hesitant, but here they’re smiling and it just encompasses Clary and Jace’s relationship so well. I’m glad we got this still. I never would have expected something like this, but it makes me happy because they look so perfect together.
