OlderMiranda Cosgrove To Star in NBC's 'Girlfriend in a Coma' Pilot
Miranda Cosgrove is heading back to television in the NBC pilot Girlfriend in a Coma, according to THR!
The show tells the story of Karen (Christina Ricci) who wakes up from a coma after two decades to find out she has a 17-year-old daughter named Evie (Cosgrove).

The 19-year-old actress will play the small-town, overachieving loner who can’t shake the legacy of being the daughter of “Coma Lady.”

The math here suggest that she was two years into that coma before getting pregnant. I thought sex with a comatose woman was illegal. If it is not, then I’ve been limiting my dating pool for no reason.
