The 16-year-old actress/singer is just one of the new celebs competing for the mirrored ball trophy for the show’s 16th season.
“’bout to get my ballroom dance on!! let’s do this!! @iamValC #DWTS,” Zendaya wrote. “And so the journey begins.”
Val added on Twitter, “First rehearsal done … It’s going to take a lot of hard work but, on this season of #dwts @Zendaya will create magic.”

Zendaya is sooooooo A W E S O M E !!!!!!!!!
I’m not a big fan of DWTS, but I think it will get some exposure for Z. Other people are going to notice that beautiful smile, glowing personality and sharp wit.
