On his character Damon Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries: “I never realized how important humor is in life and work. Humor is a medicine for pain basically. I found that when you have fun in whatever you’re doing, life is just better.”

On his upcoming project Time Framed: “The director, Sinisha Nisevic, is a very dear friend of mine and an incredible artist. It’s rare to be part of a film where you can kick serious ass, drive some of the world’s most incredible eco-friendly sports cars, and don a beautiful suit.”
