The 20-year-old actress opened up to the glossy about her Switched at Birth role, her cast mates, and more! Check it:

On hanging out with her cast mates: “I LOVE my cast. We have the best time together. Everyone is so talented and professional, but hilarious at the same time. We all lucked out with this show. From the producers to the cast to the crew, it’s one of the most fun jobs I’ve ever had.”

On what she loves about her character Bay: “I actually love the fact that Bay isn’t the easiest person to get along with. Mostly, because it’s super fun to play. The thing about Bay is her dsyfunction stems from such a vulnerable place. She’s never gonna be the perfect kid that her switchster Daphne is, and that kills her.”

On Bay and Emmett’s relationship: “Their relationship is so tricky. Emmett truly was the person who helped Bay stand on solid ground. He picked her over Daphne. Bay has never been anybody’s first choice, and she finally was. Then he cheated on her; thus, sending herself into a downward spiral. She’s been able to start putting the pieces back together, but there’s still hurt there.”
