The 19-year-old One Direction singer was joined by some pals and band mate Niall Horan as they headed off to lunch at TGIFridays. Yum!

Even in England and Ireland it’s pronounced thanks, not taanks.

You have an Irish name, so you are probably Irish and maybe you are not aware of how you sound to others. More often than not words like “thanks” and “third” sound like “tanks” and “****.”
