JJJ Book Club: 'Infernal Devices' Headed For the Big Screen?

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones debuts in theaters later this year and now we hear that Infernal Devices may be heading to the big screen too!

Martin Moszkowicz, who’s on the executive board of Constantin Film, tweeted to a fan that they are indeed “working on the screenplay.”

Also by Cassandra Clare, the Infernal Devices series starts with “Clockwork Angel.”

“Clockwork Angel” follows protagonist Tessa Gray, who travels to London to live with her brother, Nathaniel. But when she’s taken by the mysterious Dark Sisters, members of a secret organization called The Pandemonium Club, she soon learns that she herself is a Downworlder with a rare ability: the power to transform, at will, into another person.

I want for The Mortal Instruments to be successful, just because it will lead them to make Clockwork Angel – and this story is much greater!!

i’m actually reading the TMI series right now so i wouldn’t know anything yet. might as well get started on the infernal devices

Not sure if TID would appeal to a young audience because of its setting. I have a feeling it would flop compared to TMI.
    So excited for CoB!

go to the movies to see TMI. and I’m sure with the success of TMI, all the books of the saga will be movies! :)

As a Cassie Clare fan. This book makes me super duper excited. personaly (in my opinion) the TID books were much better than TMI. Think Pride & Prejudice meets Underworld!!!

I’m so excited about TID because I like it so much better than TMI but Clockwork Princess’s ending was awful, so so so bad on Jem and he is my absolute favorite!

I doubt TMI will be a box office smash to be honest, so who knows. Beautiful Creatures did horribly and The Host probably won’t do very good either.

When I read Nathan, I expect him to be Daniel Radcliff._.
