Sterling Beaumon shows off his piercing baby blues in the new Action issue of Bello magazine!
The 17-year-old actor opened up to the glossy about his hockey obsession, his love for philanthropy, and more. Check it:
On his childhood: “By the time I was six, I booked my first professional play in LA called “The Grapes of Wrath.” I continued to skate throughout, but being on a hockey team was impossible due to the time commitment of acting.”
On giving back: “Right now my number one charity is a special needs hockey team, the Condors. I’m an assistant coach for them, and it is so fulfilling to help players who absolutely love hockey and enjoy being out there on the ice– no matter their differently abled situations. They are heroes!”
On how his love for hockey developed into something else: “Coincidentally, I loved to sing and I learned the National Anthem just so I could sing at a hockey game and stand next to the players. Though, I have yet to perform the “Star Spangled Banner” at a pro hockey game, singing that song at age three did land me my first LA agent. According to my mom, as well as countless baby pictures, from the time I was one, I treated every remote or toilet paper roll like it was a microphone.”
