'Vampire Diaries' Interview: Candice Accola Talks Klaroline's Future

Check out our brand new interview with Vampire Diaries star Candice Accola!

The 25-year-old actress is the woman behind the loveable Caroline Forbes, who went from being a self-absorbent mess in season one to being probably the best and most likeable vampire in Mystic Falls.

We caught up with Candice at a recent event where we just had to ask her about Klaus (Joseph Morgan), his Original baby, and what we can expect in the coming episodes!

JustJaredJr.com Interview – Candice Accola

JustJaredJr.com: What can you tell us about what’s to come leading up to the finale?

Candice Accola: Tonight’s episode and next week’s episode, we’re going to really dive deep into the mythology and have a bigger understanding. We’re going to get to know a certain nuisance to the group just a little bit better. And by the end of the season, we’re going to have a whole new beginning.

JJJ: Will Caroline be spending time with Klaus in New Orleans?

CA: Obviously, the spin-off series has been picked up and I’m very excited for Julie Plec and everyone that will be working on the series. So we’ll be saying goodbye to a group of characters. I don’t know whether we’re going to interchange series. That hasn’t really fully been discussed yet.

JJJ: What were your thoughts when you found out Hayley was pregnant with Klaus’ baby?

CA: Personally, I think it’s great because I think it’s establishing something Rebekah (Claire Holt) has always wanted, which is family. And also for Klaus, for someone who just seems so inhumane, it just puts him in a position where he’s more human than ever. He’s going to be a dad! I know that animals reproduce, but I guess in the supernatural world, that’s the most human thing, especially vampires, really want to be a part of.

JJJ: Were you surprised the writers went there?

CA: I understood why and where they were going with it. And we’re all like little vultures, just picking at the writers. They’ve done a great job.
