Vanessa Marano gets serious on the May 2013 cover of Nationalist magazine!
The 20-year-old actress opened up to the glossy about her Switched at Birth gig, not having Twitter, and what she wanted to be when she was little. Check it:
On her favorite part about being on the show: “The people I work with. I absolutely adore the cast, the crew, the writers, producers, pretty much everyone.”
On what she would do if not acting: “I used to pretend I was a lawyer when I was little. I’d write out contracts to negotiate.”
On social media: “I just think it’s sad that we are getting to a point in society where we communicate with each other mostly behind a screen. I understand the pros of social media, but for me they just don’t outweigh cons like loss of eye contact in conversation.”
On being more a girly girl or tomboy: “I’m kind of a mix. I don’t like sports, or typical guy stuff. On the other hand, I dress in black most of time and I have no problem killing a spider.”
