'Delirium' Stars React to Fox's Decision To Scrap Series

Major bummer – Fox has decided not to pick up the highly-anticipated pilot Delirium.

“Thats showbiz #delirium,” star Daren Kagasoff tweeted after the sad news broke. “Thank you to all my fans, its a tough loss, but life goes on. The journey has just begun. I guess well see whats next ;))) Love you all”

His co-star Gregg Sulkin also took to Twitter to thank everyone for all the fan support, which included a major Twitter push from various celebrities over the last few days.

Here is a message to all my fans

Unfortunately, it’s official that Delirium did NOT get picked up by FOX.

Firstly, and I am sure I speak on behalf of all the cast, I would like to thank everyone for their support over the past few weeks. Never have I experienced, or seen anything like that in my life. Your support for the show has simply been sensational. I am very humbled and grateful.

The cast, producers, crew are as devastated as you are. We were all extremely passionate about this project, and was looking forward to working with each other on a regular basis. It wasn’t meant to be.

However, as they say, as one door closes, another opens, and I hope you guys continue to stay on this journey with me.
Of course, I would have loved the show to get on the air, but lets continue now to kick on, as a team, and I hope I can continue to make you guys proud in the future.

All the best,
Gregg x

WHAT DO YOU THINK about the network’s decision?

Is there a chance another network could pick it up?

Fox is notorious for turning down anticipated pilots. Remember Locke & Key? Yeah, that little show that got a standing ovation during Comic Con. It’s not that network is riddled with award winning shows, watchable shows or shows that are gonna stay on longer than one season.

FOX is biased and just plain idiotic to be honest. No wonder their station is falling because they stick to the same old cop shows.. They’re stuck in this rut and they don’t take chances.

I know some people that work at Fox and were able to see the pilot. They all said that while the cast was great, the show in general was lacking. Out of all the pilots they saw, they said it was one of the worst.

In the past some shows that were mediocore to at the beginning had a chance to improve and fine tune themselves becoming very successful shows. Now they dont get that chance. Remember hearing about a number of great iconic shows that admit they were great to start but gained a following anyway.

I’ve seen it and have to say its a good show. Why doesn’t CW pick it up instead of some of the new weird shows they picked up! I mean its actually quite good and is the type of show that would be better on The CW!

fox is stupid for not picking up this show! I became addicted by the first episode! they would have made money off this series and they just passed it up. sad. CW please pick it up!!!!
