Austin Butler & Brendan Dooling: CW Upfronts 2013

The 21-year-old actor was joined by his Carrie Diaries co-star Brendan Dooling.

“I was shocked when I read the script,” Austin told JJJ about his character – SPOILER ALERT – cheating on Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) in the finale. “It was shocking. And I was sad by it. But humans make mistakes and he’s human. From my point of view, if that happened to me, I don’t know how I could forgive someone. But at the same time when you’re young and it’s first love, it’s so tumultuous because you never think you can survive without that person.”
