Emma Watson Has 'Always Loved America'

Emma Watson arrives for a television appearance during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival on Friday afternoon (May 17) in Cannes, France.

The 23-year-old actress was joined on the Canal+ stage by her Bling Ring co-stars Taissa Farmiga, Claire Julien, Katie Chang and Israel Broussard.

“I’ve always loved America,” Emma recently told W magazine. “When we came here with Harry Potter, everyone was so warm. Eventually, all of my friends were American, and I think that’s why I was attracted to playing Americans, even extreme ones like [my Bling Ring character] Nicki.”
