Nice outfit, though a bit too mature for my taste, but truely elegant and chic. The other week I noticed how Bonnie works on others as style icon. I was in a pub in a northern UK city where a big party was held. Everyone was very dressed up. The barmaid was a young delicate brunette and she had copied Bonnie’s style to some extent. She wore a nude version of the white-dots-on-blue polka dress that Bonnie had for the 2012 Baftas, including black tights, plus a hairstyle very much like Bonnie’s current’s. She looked way better that the lot of posh party girls, no doubt. I had never thought that Bonnie could be such a style icon to some. Her sometimes a bit dressed-down, off-mainstream choices nevertheless work , are affordable (not the original Prada versions though) and managable for average girls, and they work to a big effect.

She’s beautiful and looks totally awesome. However, I’m not a fan of her haircut. Short hair makes her face look wide and it also makes her look much older than her age.

So she’s going to the stage now – let’s hope that’s going well.
Bonnie’s career is not going so well these days. She’s tried for many movie roles without success. She tried for “Endless Love” but that role is going to Emma Rigby. Look at her and you know why. Bonnie apparently tried for several other roles, including for ABC’s series “Alice” in which Sophie Lowe plays the lead (the role of the Red Queen, incidentally, again went to Emma Rigby, actually a somewhat strange choice). The other film projects in which she had taken part like The Philosophers and Geography of the Hapless Heart apparently stalled (The Philosophers will be “distributed on demand” in the US, which means it is a lost case). That is quite unfortunate for Boonie. It is going so bad that she now has to pay be be cast in movies if it is true what is reported about her “having auctioned” a part in a movie to be directed by Pooja Bhatt (or whoever). The theatre play will reveal if Bonnie really can’t act or if it is mainly about her appearance (looks) that she doesn’t get cast.

@Ratanplan: where’s your proof that she tried out for Alice? Oh yeah, you have none and whipped that out of your butt. The only one anyone knows of that she tried out and lost was Endless Love. Lots of girls tried out for that part and lost. That’s Hollywood. Being in a stage play – which is what she’s doing now – is what a lot of British actors do. And her “paying for a role”? Did you read up on ANYTHING about that? It was a charity auction. I doubt Bonnie cared about the role so much as donating to the charity.

You post here quite often in Bonnie’s topics with such passive aggressive remarks but always change your name. It’s so obvious you’re the same person though. Here’s a tip: maybe it’s time to stop obsessing over Bonnie’s career (which you seem to know a lot about) and perhaps get a life since you don’t even seem to like her? Being obsessed with someone who, in your words, “isn’t doing so well” is sadder than what you proclaim Bonnie’s career to be.

@april:
And that charity is a huge deal with it for stoping violence against women.

Also agreed, a lot of people audition and don’t get parts all the time. I don’t know where the Once Upon time came from except that dude’s ass. I love Sophie Lowe got it. She’s a good friend of Bonnie’s and her co-star in The Philosophers. Hell I love where all the young stars of The Philosophers are at right now and excited to see the film now it’s got US/Canadian distributor. And for those overseas have a chance too with what they have so far European/Asian distributors.

Really excited about her play and can’t wait to hear more about her role.

@Stevie Reilley: I think her character in the book is English. I read it a while ago I have to look that up.

@Ratanplan: I guess no western world actor would really pay for a role in a movie by Pooja Bhatt. Those movies are in Hindi and, as far as I know, they don’t sell well on the English speaking market. So thinking that Bonnie “pays to get a movie role” on this occasion is quite out of place. I wonder if she will accept it at all, it might be that she has conflicting schedules. No word of her representatives on this yet.
