'Glee' Casting Two New Characters Following Cory Monteith's Death

Glee is getting two more newbies.

According to E! News, the show is looking to welcome two new members after tragically losing star Cory Monteith to an accidental overdose on July 13.

Sources tell the site that the network is waiting a few more days to discuss how they’ll handle his absence from the show.

The two new roles include a “cute and quirky” twentysomething named Jenny and a new African-American student at McKinley High School.

These characters are seemingly in addition to the three new roles they were already seeking out. It was recently announced that production could be delayed until November.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, we found out that some castmembers would not be returning, while others were bumped up to series regulars.
