Demi Lovato: "Made In The USA" Video with Aimee Teegarden!

Demi Lovato:

Aimee Teegarden and Dustin Milligan share a sunset filled kiss in Demi Lovato‘s new video for “Made In The USA.”

“These American romantic love stories [inspired it] and I feel like they’re unbreakable through the years, through time, since the 30s and 40s and 50s, they still hold up. Real love, if it’s made in the USA, it’s never gonna break,” songwriter Jason Evigan shared with MTV.

Best country ever? Ho-ho, there’s death penalty, Guantamo Bay, Iraq and Afganistan wars and et cetera. Maybe she’s – the poor thing – never been abroad?

Debo reconocer que exageró con eso de “…el mejor país…” pero OJO eso no lo dice Demi, lo dice el compositor de la canción :S

@Aeva: I’m pretty sure everyone living in third world countries would beg to differ with you. You sound uneducated

I love the way the just when you think the soldier is not going to make it back from the war. He shows up. The co-director did a fantastic job! Personally if I were director I would have put the artist that sings the song in front of an American flag and focus the camera directly on her for 3 mins and 40 secs…but I digress.

@Josh I am well educated, thank you very much. But this is not about me. Neither it is of Demi Lovato’s persona. That is why I have to excuse myself of calling Demi Lovato “the poor thing.” I have no right to belittle her based on her views of patriotism which seem to be surprisingly strong like with most of the pop stars.

Rather the point is the narrow-mindedness and ignorance of the American pop culture icons telling (like Mariah Carey, another good example: “I would like to be as thin as the starving kids in Africa but without the death and flies and stuff.”)

I am not from USA but my vision of the culture that is pushed to us from there across the pond is very self-centered and -absorbed when it comes to nationality. The citizenship, hooray, must be a big thing then. I am only showing the annoyance I have for the patriotic Americans making videos, films and literature based on patriotic feelings that would be in most of Europe considered dumb, arrogant and unwanted.

“Real love, if it’s made in the USA, it’s never gonna break.”
And if it’s not made in the USA, then it’s gonna break or what? :D What a nonsense.

@ Aeva —- First of all you have a beautiful name I’m sure my country boy Southern accent is not saying it as you would……….I just wanted to say just you paying attention to Ms. Lovato and caring to comment on this board automatically you have an American that cares about you and would treat you as a family member if we were to ever meet.

@ Josh — breathe man breathe —count to ten.

@doug: You’re idea of just having Demi sing in front of the flag for the duration of the song is genius! Love the video though, but also I love watching Demi.
